FAQ

1: Why use Blue Card! Industries as part of the development process? My builder has a design and drafting team.

You want to be assured you are getting the best product for the market at the lowest price possible. When you lock yourself into a contract with a builder, the BUILDER owns the copyright to the plans
on your lot. If you ever decide to terminate dealings with that builder, for whatever reason, you will have to start the drafting process all over again. That means you will incur duplicate costs and waste
a lot of time. Using Blue Card! Industries, you retain full copyright of the plans. That means you can have the plans tendered to as many builders as you want without breach of copyright. This ensures
you get the best product at the best price, which minimises holding costs and maximises profits.

2: What services does Blue Card! Industries offer?

Blue Card! Industries works with clients from before they purchase land right through to the marketing stage. We offer yield plans before purchase as part of your feasibility study, concepts, development Application (Planning) drawings, Residential Design Codes justifications, Building Application (Building License / Working) Drawings, 3D rendering services, Marketing Brochures and on-line marketing campaigns, colour selections (internal and external) and landscaping plans.

3: How does Blue Card! Industries charge for services?

Blue Card! Industries operates on a “flat fee” scenario. We charge on a “per unit, per storey” basis rather than an hourly rate or a square metre rate. You know exactly what the fees for our services
will be, upfront and with no hidden costs, before you start. Email us for a current price list.

4: If there are problems with my plans during the application process, what are the extra costs involved?

None! Blue Card! Industries operates on a flat fee scenario with full transparency in our fee structure. There are no hidden costs. Blue Card! Industries will attempt to rectify any problems with justification, however, should plans require amendments and/or re-draws, this is supplied free of charge. We are the professionals. We should know what we’re doing!

5: When should I contact Blue Card! Industries to draw my plans?

We would like people to call us BEFORE PUTTING AN OFFER in for a chosen parcel of land. We can organise a yield plan IMMEDIATELY over the phone and we can do this
even if you’re sitting in the agent’s office ready to sign. We’ve all heard nightmare scenarios where someone buys a multi-unit site only to find that, because of the size of common property required, a unit or two (or more!) have been lost. Call Blue Card! Industries first. We will arm you with the information needed to make an offer to maximise your profit. Don’t pay a cent more than you should.

6: How fast can I get my drawings?

We will provide a proposal that will outline what services and products are provided along with their estimated completion dates. Every job is different and treated accordingly. There are no square pegs and square holes in land development.

7: Where do you get your influences? What separates Blue Card! Industries from other design companies / architects?

Blue Card! Industries seeks to make a large improvement to small lot living in Western Australia. Utilising HIA Greensmart processes and a more modern version of the natural, general scale of
proportion called “Phi” (more specifically, a version of Phi which dates back to the middle Renaissance period in human history,) Blue Card! Industries provides attractive, visually pleasing and
furnishable small lot homes to the market. The proportion of “Phi” is everywhere in nature, including humans, so naturally designing a dwelling which provides these proportions will be not be
immediately apparent. A person living in this home will always feel at ease because of the natural proportions of the rooms.

8: I have no idea how to start the process of putting a house on my land. What is the first step?
